ESDP is a State Plan Scheme.
WAB Meeting of the Department of Minority Affairs, Government of Manipur has redesigned the scheme now called “Economic and Skill Development Programmes (ESDP)” by merging/combining the Economic Development Programme (EDP) and Skill Development Programme (SDP) to form a scheme where each sub-scheme shall have an assistance part in kind/seed money and, also, a skill training part.
Sub-schemes such as Plumbing, Make-up artist, Electrical works, Masonry, Fishery, Mushroom Cultivation etc. are implemented under ESDP.
Work Advisory Board (WAB) of the Department approves the work programme annually.
