It is a top up programme to develop and fill up deficits under Prime Minister’s New 15-Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities. It is undertaken in 07 (Seven) MCDs (Churachandpur, Tamenglong, Senapati, Ukhrul, Chandel, Thoubal and Imphal East) of the State during 11^th & 12^th Plan. Various programmes/schemes like IAY, DWS, Labour Rooms, PHC Buildings, School Buildings, ITI, Anganwadi Centres, etc. are being taken up under MsDP. As per the revised guidelines, 80% of the fund must be used for taking up projects in Education and HEALTH SECTOR. Besides, 33% – 40% of the projects taken up should be earmarked for women/girls related projects.
